TONIC BAR
Boulder, Colorado
The Tonic Bar is an amazing place, which serves only natural herbal and oxygen tonics to purify, strengthen and enliven the body. It's so wonderful to play for a roomful of conscious people!
I played Bansuri Flute accompanied by Singing Bowl, as well as sang "Paths to Higher Elevations" accompanied by myself on acoustic guitar. It was such a nice experience. The room was filled with such open-hearted, loving people. This is definitely a place I want to return to again! Giving thanks for my dear sister, Cherie Hill of Irie Dance, for hooking this up!

THE BICYCLE WORKS ONE YEAR CELEBRATION & FUNDRAISER
San Anselmo, California
This was a beautiful event, and the stage was powered by green energy - a bicycle-powered generator!
The Bicycle Works began in the owner's garage, as a way to help people who didn't have the money to get their bicycle's fixed. Now, it's located on San Anselmo Avenue, and is a major hub in alternative zero-carbon footprint transportation!
Katyayani had the blessing of being accompanied this day by Mark Kahn on Djembe, Sun Ra on Djembe & Percussion, Ali on Percussion and Kili on Vocal Harmonies. Sun Ra performed original poetry. Mark shared a couple cover songs by Neil Young & the Grateful Dead, applicable to the Bicycle Works fundraiser. A special appearance was also made by Katyayani's daughter, ten-year old Iris Anbesa, performing "Breathe" by The Human Revolution. The crowd was awesome, the vibes were high and the day went beautifully! Much thanks to Heather & Spokey for this opportunity.

THE GOOD FESTIVAL
Fairfax, California
The Good Festival was indeed about as good as it gets! It was a wonderfully inspiring day with so many kind people everywhere you look. This was an alcohol-free event, and people who smoked cigarettes were conscious enough to go far away from the festival where anyone was to light up! This was a free event, and there were lots of amazing musicians who played, including Native Elements, Diego the Whistler and Ara Rose. It was a fun event for children also, and a memorable day. There is so much love in Fairfax, California, you can't help but be affected by it!
Katyayani played just before the headlining band, Native Elements at 5 PM. With Soul Whisper on Vocals and Rhythm Guitar, she was accompanied by Mark Kahn on Djembe. "Paths to Higher Elevations" was well received, and Soul Whisper was blessed with a lot of heartfelt feedback from the audience. She looks forward to possibly playing The Good Festival in a future year!
Much gratitude to Patrick & Justin for this opportunity.
